Today’s design practice is increasingly based on data management where knowledge from well-developed databases is applied in the design strategy. There are specialists in the market who have data sourcing and database building as their strongest attributes. That is a profession in its own right. And there are specialists who use that data and the right tooling to make optimal and effective design proposals. ÓOur profession is to understand real estate and, with the right data and tooling, make and substantiate transparent design proposals and thus make effective decisions insightful.

Cost database

We use an external cost database that is kept current by broad independent field research; that is the field data sourcing. That database is differentiated by building function (from simple industrial building to complex healthcare property) and by building typology (from small commercial building to stacked housing). Cost insight goes down to the line level and broken down by labor, materials and operations.
