WWestfield Mall of The Netherlands is raising the bars for the shopping experience in the Netherlands
The Mall of The Netherlands is situated in the middle of the 4 main cities in The Netherlands. With an catchment area of 2.4 million customers within a 30 minutes driving range and quite a high household income level in the area, the shopping mall location is developed with quite an ambition: to become the most impressive shopping mall in The Netherlands, where retail and leisure blend together in a full day of entertainment.
Our design team has pushed for the best results in branding for the clients. Our engineers have carried out their technical research to minimise all risk in execution and to propose the best detailing to have the design intentions built. Our projectmanagers are supervising the design and engineering while providing Costs Estimates per design phase. Therefore we are able to propose the right design choices which will fit the budget. Thus we can foresee technical risks and make sure the solutions are covered in the budget.
The developer, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has been a customer of NewArmstrong for long. In the Mall of The Netherlands we have been asked to take on some multidisciplinairy projects where design, engineering and projectmanagement are combined.
These multidisciplinairy projects include among others the Click&Service area, functioning as a hotel lobby for the Mall, a VR experience location and a famous patissier, including production location and restaurant.
