Space for everyone: Have a great Pride!
Pride starts with embracing who you are
Every year, Pride marks an important moment of visibility, connection, and looking ahead. And with Amsterdam right in our backyard, it’s not to be missed (Canal Pride!). It’s a time when we can reflect on the value of being ourselves. At work, in partnerships, and in society as a whole.
At NewArmstrong, we believe that strong organizations are built when people feel safe, seen, and valued—not in spite of their differences, but precisely because of them. Diversity in perspectives, experiences, and ideas makes teams more creative, decision-making more incisive, and relationships more sustainable.
Inclusivity isn’t a moment in time, but a mindset
Pride is not a one-off event or campaign. It reminds us that inclusivity is an ongoing principle —in how we work together, how we communicate, and how we create space for dialogue. Small choices—in language, imagery, and behavior—make a big difference in this regard.
An inclusive culture means:
- Listening without making assumptions
- Treating Differences with Respect
- leave room for individuality
- reinforce each other rather than standardize
That doesn’t require perfect answers, but it does require sincere attention.
What this means for the way we work
In our work, we consciously choose to collaborate in a way that is based on trust and equality. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome to contribute, share ideas, and grow.
Not because we “have to,” but because it works.
Moving Forward Together
Pride invites us to keep the conversation open. To stay curious. And to work every day to build a culture in which respect and humanity are a given.
This month—and every month after that.
