This means that the approach can differ per client and per project.
Whereas for one project design is leading, for another task the social context or operational process is leading.
NewArmstrong works in the Autodesk Construction Cloud.
This provides not only anywhere access to project data, the highest level of data security (back up, redundancy and cybersecurity), but also clear project control.
Models and drawings are submitted for approval and validated through workflows.
This makes it always clear ‘where’ a project is in the process or where stagnation occurs.
It also leads to effective and efficient work because feedback is not provided via mail and PDFs, but directly in the design software.
We have experience with several clients to implement this way of working.
Some clients go ‘all the way’ in our digital way of working, with some we start hybrid to keep it workable.
Our organization is set up in such a way that we can guarantee the uniformity and quality of our services, through the application of the quality management system.
A few examples are:
- working agreements on document and data storage incl.
the use of a fixed folder structure; - organize a kick-off meeting (with starting points and goal of the work, requirements from the client, planning vs. available hours incl. consultation structure) The report of the kick-off meeting is secured;
- Central office planning where work inventory and staff deployment is tracked;
- Holding regular knowledge sessions and toolbox meetings to inform employees in the area of health and safety, as well as on issues that are going on in our organization and developments from the market;
Especially also with multiple simultaneous projects; this makes the work for us varied and challenging.
We safeguard our experiences from previous projects and ensure that subsequent projects run predictably, are more efficient and produce better results.
We do this by regularly conducting project evaluations (internally and with the client), which enables us to learn from situations and share experiences as a team, discuss what we expect from each other and where possible improvements lie.
In this way, the good things also come to light.
Regularly discussing the wishes and expectations with each other, both internally and externally, brings us closer together and provides a good starting point for cooperation and for starting new projects.
