For the new Bottega Veneta store on P.C. Hooftstraat, we fulfilled the role of local architect, being responsible for both the permitting procedure and execution supervision.

Working closely with the international design team, we ensured that the brand’s vision was seamlessly translated into a high-quality, functional and technically feasible realization within the Dutch construction and regulatory framework.

Architecture & interior in perfect harmony

The result is a store interior that focuses on warmth, elegance and craftsmanship. Rich wooden volumes, soft curves and subtle detailing create a serene, luxurious experience. The terrazzo floor is a light counterpart to the dark wood tones, giving the interior a timeless tranquility that does full justice to the collection.

An elegant facade in historic streetscape

The classic Amsterdam facade was retained and subtly reinterpreted with a new storefront that connects modernity and craftsmanship. The interplay of glass, wood and refined materiality creates an inviting, luxurious look that perfectly complements the character of P.C. Hooftstraat.

A sophisticated customer experience

Upstairs, an intimate, salon-like space has been created with deep leather armchairs, sculptural furniture and a large circular light opening. This environment provides a quiet, exclusive setting for personalized service and private appointments – a key pillar of the Bottega Veneta experience.

Our responsibility as local architects

As a local architect, we supervised the project from the initial technical translation of the design to its implementation. Our work included:

Permit process – full submission, coordination with municipality and assurance of local regulations.
Technical elaboration – translating the international design into executable, Dutch construction documentation.
Construction supervision – supervision of (Italian) contractors and suppliers, quality control and support during the construction phase.

This integrated approach allowed us to ensure the brand’s high aesthetic and technical standards.
