The Netherlands’ best-known hardware store chain was founded in 1971 by a group of building materials merchants after they had seen the concept of a ‘home improvement center’ during a trip to the United States. They decided to bring this innovative store concept to the Netherlands and opened the first GAMMA branch in Breda.

We have developed the stores for a number of Gamma franchisers, including the design of the shell and facade. The challenge in these projects is to create a design within the suburban areas where the Gamma shops can often be found that fits in with the environment and does justice to the commercial principles and Brand Identity of Gamma.
