he Schiesser brand

Schiesser is a brand for stylish and functional underwear and nightwear, for men, women and children. Schiesser was founded as early as 1875 by Frenchman Jacques Schiesser. He was the inventor of modern tricot: a sturdy knitted fabric with a portion of elastic yarn. This makes it very comfortable to wear. This long history translates into making underwear with comfortable and functional choices in design and quality.

Stores

Schiesser stores have a transparent layout with a central service area.

The décor is functional and restrained with an emphasis on products.

The central service area has two positions for checkout and product packing. The employee does not face the façade, but faces the store in order to serve the customers in the store properly as well.

The wooden wall units clearly show the product segments highlighted with a visual above them. The wall shelves can be in hanging or laying clothes where shelves are extendable to accommodate all size arcs.

The center furniture is white round steel tube with simple hook systems. For actions and small goods, there are baskets to put products in.
Because nightwear is also sold, there are also fitting rooms, which are not visible from the store due to a wall with mirrors for privacy when trying on.

Design and drawing work for Schiesser

NewArmstrong made the designs and drawings for stores in the Benelux based on the Schiesser concept for full-service stores and outlet stores. We make our designs in a 3d model so that we can clearly discuss the design choices with the customer and show the shopping center what will be realized. The design phase takes 2 to 3 weeks.

With NewArmstrong’s drawing set, permits were applied for and tenders for contractors and installers were made.

Turnkey realization

NewArmstrong has taken on the assignments for Schiesser Turnkey: from design, to project management and turnkey delivery is the responsibility of NewArmstrong. The client is thus taken care of to the maximum extent and has only one point of contact.

NewArmstrong has an extensive network in Europe of skilled installers, builders and shopfitters to engage. By doing a proper survey in advance and creating a clear drawing set that properly defines the scope, we reduce risks in execution and can buy competitively and realize quickly.

The implementation phase takes 4-5 weeks.
