Whether a project is large or small: the choice for a Turnkey construction (or Design&Build, which comes down to the same thing) has advantages.

Turnkey is a method of contract formation in which the contractor takes on the work to realize according to predetermined specifications against a fixed budget. This revolves around the concept of ‘Turn key’: the assignment is the responsibility of the contractor from the start of the project until the commissioning.

Controlling quality

Another advantage of delegating responsibility to a single contractor is that there is full attention to quality at all stages of the process, from design to implementation. An extra design adjustment or an extra drawing to improve the quality in progress is not additional work, but a way in which we can determine the quality ourselves. Then we can work out exactly what is needed, without having to assess whether it fits within the scope of the engineering .

But we can also optimally control quality in the execution: there is no risk for the client that items have been purchased where the assignments do not match well: the purchasing and scope of purchasing from contractors is our concern. By working with parties with whom we have worked before and know the quality of our services, we know that we can offer the required quality.

One point of contact

The chance of errors due to a poor transfer between designer , drafting agency , project manager and contractors is much smaller: from start to finish there is one project manager responsible for the entire process. He therefore oversees the work from assignment specification to delivery and can therefore test the end result against the demand. Coordination between different suppliers and deliveries can also present challenges. Working with a Turnkey contractor takes that stress away: the NewArmstrong project manager takes over this coordination.
