Team Mission Modave

Last week we exchanged our familiar workplace for the atmospheric Modave.in the Ardennes. This is a place where nature, history and relaxation come together perfectly. The ideal setting for a team that switches daily between strategy, creativity and commercial thinking. No KPIs, team meetings or project deadlines for a while, but fresh air, new energy and above all: working together on useful survival skills such as making fire, farting arches and abseiling.

A journey that immediately set the tone

Already during the drive to Modave, the typical mix of preliminary fun, sharp jokes and good conversation emerged. With a division among several cars and full of luggage and groceries on the way to the warm south. The kind of drive that proves that a team is more than a group of colleagues: it is a mini-ecosystem that runs on trust, humor and curiosity.

Modave: tranquility, space and inspiration

Modave surprised us with its beautiful surroundings. Green hills, old castle walls and that typical Belgian landscape that automatically makes you walk (and think) slower. It immediately gave everyone the feeling that this was not going to be a standard team outing.

We did exactly what collaboration is all about: experiencing things you can only do together.
A creative challenge
Of course, a creative task could not be missing: human bingo. Which characteristics belong to which colleague? What started as a light-hearted activity ended (as always with us) in fanaticism and original ideas. In no time the concepts flew across the table and everyone proved again why we are such a strong team.
Hiking and good conversations
During a long walk in the woods, the best things happened: people who are normally tightly in project mode told about hobbies, families or dreams. That kind of conversation sticks – and makes collaboration even easier.
Conviviality arising almost naturally
Whether it was at lunch, drinks or in the evening: the atmosphere remained effortlessly good. Laughter, banter, good stories – exactly what a strong team grows from.
