Albert Heerschap Muntpassage – smaller, but feels bigger
The Albert Heijn in the Muntpassage in Weert opened this week, marking Albert Heijn Heerschap’s sixth store. This store has been rearranged and adapted to the latest formula.
We also optimized the layout: by optimizing and reducing the part behind the scenes, the Rental Area (FLA) was reduced. The retail area has also been reduced. Previously, the store was aligned with the passageway, making it perceived as “crooked. By now organizing the store parallel to the back wall, the layout now feels logical and the routing is good.
By eliminating the window, there is more natural light in the store, making it feel larger. With this layout and clear routing, feedback from customers and consumers is that the store feels larger.
Of course, the hot bakery of Bakery Heerschap cannot be missed: a strong regional offering with award-winning flans and a strong local signature. A specific arrangement of furniture was developed for Heerschap’s Bakery Department to display their products. With maximum viewing range, proper inclination angle and light color, products are optimally displayed for the best purchase incentive.
